Privacy Policy
Effective 8 August 2026
Post-Op & Lymphatic by Selma ("we," "I," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what is collected when you use this website or book an appointment, what is shared, and the choices you have.
Information collected
Information you give us. Your name, contact details, service address, appointment preferences, and anything you choose to write in the contact form. Please keep that message to general enquiries and scheduling — this website is not a secure channel for medical information.
Information collected automatically. Aggregate, non-identifying usage data — which pages are viewed and roughly where visits come from. If you allow it (see below), Meta and Google analytics also record your visit.
How information is used
To schedule and provide care, to reply to you, to take payment through the booking provider, and to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Tracking across other websites
Only if you allow it. With your permission this site loads Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google analytics, which can recognise you across other websites and use that to measure and target advertising. Under some state laws that sharing counts as a "sale" or as cross-context behavioural advertising.
Two things are true regardless of your choice. These trackers are never loaded on the /contact or /book pages, so nothing you type there — including anything about your procedure or recovery — is shared with them. And if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, our consent platform takes it into account.
You can change your decision at any time using Tracking preferences at the bottom of any page.
Cookies
One cookie is set regardless of your choice: it records the choice itself, so you are not asked on every page. It identifies nothing about you. The site's basic visit counter is cookieless and records no identifier either.
If you allow the advertising and analytics trackers described above, those set their own cookies. Declining means none are set, and withdrawing permission later removes them.
Third parties information is shared with
The online booking and payment provider, for appointments you make; the email provider used to deliver contact-form messages; the website host; and, only with your permission, Meta and Google as described above. Each has its own privacy terms.
Reviewing or changing your information
You may ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top of this page is updated and, where the change concerns tracking, you are asked for your choice again the next time you visit.
